Mourinho:Ni fedheha kwa mtu kurekodi mazungumzo binafsi

Kocha wa timu ya Chelsea ya England, Jose Mourinho ameshutumu tabia ya kurekodi kwa siri mazungumzo yake kuhusu wachezaji wa timu hiyo.

Mourinho amesema lilikuwa jambo la aibu kuona kwamba mazungumzo binafsi kuhusu wachezaji wa timu yake, yanawekwa hadharani na kampuni moja ya televisheni nchini Ufaransa.

Mourinho amesema alikuwa anatania alipokuwa akilalamika kuwa Chelsea inakosa wachezaji wa nafasi ya ushambuliaji na alimtania Eto'o kuhusu umri wake.

"Yalikuwa mazungumzo ya utani na mtu ambaye hahusiki na masuala ya ulimwengu wa soka," amesema Mourinho.

Wenger "Ozil ajutia kukosa penalti"

Kocha wa Arsenal ya Uingereza Arsene Wenger, amesema kuwa mshambulizi Mesut Ozil angali anajutia kukosa kufunga penalti dhidi ya mabingwa watetezi wa ligi kuu barani ulaya Bayern Munich jumanne iiyopita.

The official 16-day competition at the Sochi Winter Olympics begins Saturday when gold medals in five sports will be contested.

The Games in Russia's Black Sea resort city kicked off Friday with a glitzy opening ceremony featuring Russian music, ballet stars, acrobats and cosmonauts.

Brand new Fisht Olympic Stadium, which holds 40,000 people, hosted the ceremony. Organizers hope the event will paint a shining image of Russia.

Athletes from the more than 80 nations competing in Sochi filled the 

stadium. The lighting of the Olympic torch and fireworks lit the night sky to culminate the event.

More than 40 world leaders attended the ceremony, but U.S. President Barack Obama and some European Union leaders were absent. Russia has faced criticism of its law banning the spread of so-called "gay propaganda" to minors.

Security is tight in and around the Olympic Village, with authorities on guard for possible terrorist attacks.

Security also was bolstered around the Kremlin in anticipation of possible Olympics-related protests.

The United States has issued a travel alert for all citizens heading to Russia, urging them to remain attentive in regards to personal security at all times.

It also alerts Americans to be aware of the Russian law banning gay propaganda, calling it vague.

International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach said it is unfair to single out the Sochi Games as facing a particular security threat. He said terror threats were made at other Olympics, including Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004, and Salt Lake City in 2002.  

Bach also said preparations for the Games are going "pretty smoothly," but that the first few days of the Games usually have "a small hiccup [problem] here or there."

Russian authorities have spent an estimated $2 billion to shore up security in advance of the Sochi Olympics. Islamic militants have threatened attacks, and analysts have singled out train stations and other areas where civilians congregate as possible targets.

Wenger slipped and fall at Liverpool Lime Street Station after the defeat

Arsenal's title challenge may not have fell flat on its face just yet after Manchester City's slight slip-up at Norwich, but their manager did take a tumble on his way back from the 5-1 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday.Arsene Wenger, so often the cool, calm and collected Frenchman, slipped on his way into Liverpool Lime Street Station after the loss.

It was just one of those days for Wenger, who saw his side go 4-0 down within 20 minutes at Anfield.

They improved, however, and ended up drawing the second period 1-1, but with a tough run-in over the next month, plenty more slip-ups are inevitable.

Arsenal's next three games are Manchester United, Liverpool again in the FA Cup fifth round, and Bayern Munich, all at the Emirates Stadium.

Wenger knows there needs to be a big improvement for Wednesday's match against United.'What is important is that we respond to that result, especially respond with a different performance because our performance overall was poor,' Wenger said.

'On the concentration level, on pace, on defensive stability, it was very poor and we always looked vulnerable.

'If you concede two early goals from set-pieces then you are in a position where you always have to come out.

'I just think the whole team have failed to turn up with the right performance. We know that you need to be better focused at this kind of level.'

'Overall our performance was just not good enough and I include myself in that performance.

'For me it is maybe better I don't talk too much, go home and respond better on Wednesday night.

'Congratulations to Liverpool. They were the best team today and we were very poor - only our fans were good for 90 minutes.'
